Time management!

One thing that I have always struggled with is Time Management. With every new season comes new ways to mange your time. When I was in college I thought I had no free time. I thought marriage would solve that and that once I got married I would have TONS of free time...haha...how naive I was!

Now my time is filled with different tasks, new jobs, and new relationships. So right now I am trying to live by this verse:

"Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. " Ephesians 5:15-18

My prayer is that through my job, and my time at home, church, etc.. God will teach me how to be wise with my time and make the most of EVERY opportunity I am given. These opportunities could be to listen to a hurt friend, share the gospel with a co-worker, or simply delight in my Father as I drive home from work. My challenge for you today, friend, is to pray about how you spend your time, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you manage your time well and realize that life is short and the days are evil!!

Until the next post, Blessings to all!!!

Amen! It seems it doesn't matter what stage of life we are in; we always find ways to keep so busy we can barely find our centers. But you are absolutely right--whatever is going on in our lives, we must make God the focus or nothing will fall into place. He created time, he gave us the ability to make decisions about our lives, so we need to HONOR Him by making wise decisions and investing in things that are going to glorify Him. Thank you for the reminder...you are my best encourager! I love you!
